Camshaft position sensor (also called G sensor)
Crank shaft potion sensor ( called NE sensor)
Inductive sensor
Magnetic reluctor sensor
Instructions
obtain an electronic inductive distributor.
visually inspect condition,
test ignition primary amplifying module for serviceability.
test pickup coil for serviceability.
| | | Specifications toyota | Actual ohms | Serviceable? |
| G Pickup Coil (G+ G-) | Cold | 185-275 | 243 ohms | |
| NE Pickup Coil NE+ NE-) | Cold | 370-550 | 486 ohms | |
Check Air Gap; Ive used the brass feeler gauge for measuring the air gap on Magnetic Distributor.
Adjusting the relector air gap
