Speed or Position Sensors

Position Speed Sensors provide information to the ECM about the position of component, the speed of component and the change in speed of component.
Camshaft position sensor (also called G sensor)
Crank shaft potion sensor ( called NE sensor)
Inductive sensor 
Magnetic reluctor sensor


Instructions


obtain an electronic inductive distributor.
visually inspect condition,
test ignition primary amplifying module for serviceability.
test pickup coil for serviceability.

Check Air Gap; Ive used the brass feeler gauge for measuring the air gap on Magnetic Distributor.

Signal circuit: refer to the signal waveform and compare.
Spin the distributer either by hand.
