TTEC 48626 using a digital multi meter

 Meter reading Ohms with wires not connected.

Turn on meter, set  it to measure ohms, make sure the leads are not touching anything (open circuit). Record the readout on your meter. OL

1.2 Describe what the readout above means when doing electrical testing;
This means there is no connection
2.0 Meter reading Ohms with wires connected
2.1 Meter on, set to Ohms, touch leads together and record the readout on your meter: 0.5 ohms
2.2 Di scribe what the readout above means whens when doing electrical testing:
This is the internal resistance of the multimeter and should be subtract from final reading of the electrical test result

3.0 Practice back probing connectors
3.1 Find a hard shell connector, with  the attached terminals and wires that you can test.

3.2 Back probe a wire on side, probe gently from the front on the other side, and measure the resistance.Record the reading: 1.6 ohms

3.3 Do you know you made a good connection with the wire? And describe how you know?
Yes, it gives me reading once i connected the prob to the back prob and the other side.
I had demonstrate back probing without any damage to my lecturer and signed for me. thanks.
